Powerflushing
We employ trained technicians who are able to perform a thorough "power flush" of your heating system.
Our power flushing service uses a high velocity, low pressure flow of water and cleaning chemicals to flush out dirt and debris from the pipes and component parts of a heating system. Once the system has been thoroughly cleaned, it is re-filled with inhibiting chemicals to suppress the build-up of dirt and debris in the future.
This service is widely recognised as a suitable remedy for many of the following problems:
- cold spots on radiators
- noisy pipes
- water pump failure
- general system inefficiency
An increase in system efficiency can have welcome financial and environmental benefits by reducing the work the boiler has to do (and the fuel it has to burn) to heat your home.

How long does it take?
Although a very simple power flush could be carried out in as little as 4 hours, we prefer to allocate at least a full day to each job to ensure that we can take the time to complete the job satisfactorily rather than being rushed to complete it in a set time.
It is for this reason that we set our prices by the size of the system rather than by the hour (please note, some systems can take longer than one day) - we quote for a satisfactorily completed job, not a hastily completed one.
